Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for providing high-quality cook-to-order omelets and hot breakfast in a fast, friendly, efficient, and professional manner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for food preparation tasks, including, but not limited to scrambled eggs, omelets, and sides.
  • Complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
  • Stores and rotates all products properly.
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or manager-on-duty.
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Food preparation including use of equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers, etc.; prepare batter for pancakes, French toast, etc

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience is required or a certificate of completion for Culinary in kitchen preparation and cooking or any experience with volume production.
  • Communicate clearly.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English
  • Demonstrated experience working
