Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy individual to oversee and help with sales and marketing for all products and brands in a team environment. The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for leading their team of sales and marketing professionals to facilitate MBAF’s growth in the hemp market. The Sales & Marketing Director and their team would track market developments, create sales strategies, setup sales plans and maintain customer relationships for the business. This is a manager-level role, so previous experience in leadership and recruiting is highly preferred.

Previous experience in Sales and Marketing is also highly preferred. He or she must have strong administrative and organizational skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong computer skills, and a working knowledge of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create a Go-To-Market plan for product launches
  • Work with a sales team to support and cultivate the development and growth of the team, in a quickly changing environment.
  • Oversee maintenance of current website and e-commerce
  • Update social media with relevant material to drive sales and brand awareness
  • Work with an already in-place CRM
  • Maintain an understanding of the fast-changing environment in the Hemp marketplace
  • Attend trade shows and educational events for our distributors
  • Understanding the needs of our customers and distribution network
  • Oversees the balance of work between staff members and accessing needs
  • Provides timely and accurate reports as required
  • Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • Cannabis industry or agricultural experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet
